It is our pleasure to contact you on behalf of Vishvodayaa, a Voluntary Organization, registered under trust act. From its inception in 1998, Vishvodayaa has been endeavoring to promote society for self-reliant and sustainable development. It is inspiring to note that these efforts, carried out with the participation of grass root people, have borne out enduring results, particularly in the areas of promotion of income generation, holistic health care and education.

It is Vishvodayaa intention to relentlessly pursue these goals and achieve still greater results, to the benefit of millions of our people. With clear vision and committed and competent personnel, Vishvodayaa is poised to take giant leaps in these fields of creative social action. Inadequacy of material resources is the only constraining factor. We are approaching you with a specific request to help us in completing our task. Vishvodayaa Trust is having Income Tax exempt under section 80 G vide order DIT (E) No.2 (435)/2001-02 dated 21/05/2002. (Valid up to 2006),.Our trust is managing a school, Baalyaa with the basic concepts of Montessori and Kindergarten to reach the larger section of the society,which is a burning issue. and having one of the aims to support capital and development projects at BAALYAA – a nursery and primary school functioning under the Trust.

BAALYAA– a nursery and primary school

The central goal of BAALYAA is to encourage children to adopt the very special theme "I'm special because I care about others". This is the message BAALYAA takes into its various facets of early childhood education. BAALYAA promotes this message of care by:

Assisting children in supporting their peers.
Encouraging children to love and care for children with diverse needs.
Fostering children's understanding that violence is not the solution to disputes.
Promoting the concepts of hope and peace.
Developing children's social skills and character to enable them to get along with others.
Integrating the children of slow learning into the mainstream

BAALYAA was started in 2002 with two children and now has grown to 42 children. It is following the Montessori and Kindergarten models of education into its project based curriculum. Children have been admitted and they have received the benefits from an informal Montessori and Kindergarten setting with structured courses to specific themes, like fine motor skills such as eye–hand co-ordination, communication, language development, listening skills, socialization, application and character building.

Your Help to us-build the institution

Presently this school is running in a small area with the trust office. Our trust have a land of 5000 sq ft. obtained as donation for this purpose. The educational approach of Baalyaa itself is innovative and service related. It is estimated to raise fund of valued 10 lakhs from public contribution which will be a valuable support for Vishvodayaa and its cause of promoting alternative and holistic approaches. As BAALYAA is growing and evolving at a rapid pace, the vision is in having a central permanent Nursery and Primary school for early childhood education integrating slow learners along .

BAALYAA aims to integrate a "facility slow learners” where the occupational therapist, physiotherapists, speech therapist can provide the required service to such children. BAALYAA plans to set up a sensory /physiotherapy oriented laboratory as this will greatly help the children in this neighborhood.

This school will be based in Chennai, India and is proposed for establishment in the next 6 months. It will be designed to facilitate learning through its comprehensive library, study rooms, conference rooms, research center and various course offerings including counseling and training parents. We have already acquired the land of 5200 square feet.

Above all, the building will have safe, fire proof and secure RCC structure.

Support

This project is 100% dependent on donations. We seek your help to manifest this vision, which will greatly benefit the society at large. We humbly request you to donate for this cause.

The trust is looking forward to DONORS from philanthropists, individuals and organization to fund this school building project. The cost of the project is estimated as rupees 50 lakhs.

We also welcome donations in kind like steel, bricks, cement and other construction materials, also play material for children.

Acknowledgement

Your contribution and association with us will go a long way in alleviating the problems of the children, also with learning disabilities, in providing quality education to the wards and in turn produce good citizens for tomorrow.

As a gesture of appreciation, the Trust will acknowledge donors by dedicating the building blocks in their names. The Trust also foresees creation of endowments in the name of major donors as Special recognition.

Your contribution may be made in the form of Demand draft drawn in favor of Vishvodayaa, which will also get Income Tax Exemption under Income Tax Act.80 G

In case you are not in a position to make a contribution, kindly consider the option of giving an interest-free loan to Vishvodayaa for a maximum period of five years.
