Ananthakrishnan Parthasarathy (Ananth), as the Head of
Technology and Operations of Ventureast combines his current
position of operations with his experience as well. He has been
an entrepreneur and a business builder, supports the portfolio
companies in ramping up new concepts and business with processes
and introducing cross platform operational efficiency. He has
supported, Sresta Natural Bioproducts Private Limited, A
portfolio company under Biotech Fund of Ventureast, in
streamlining the supply chain, implementing an ERP and setting
up Management Information System (MIS). He has also designed and
helped seamless integration of internal systems operating in
hybrid environment in Ventureast.
In his thirty years career, he has seen and handled
computer-mediated developments and operations, handling large
projects in India and Abroad from inception to completion,
in the industry. He has worked in blue chip companies like
Tata Consultancy Services where he initiated a special interest
group in software engineering and Process Control and
Automation, Covansys (previously known as CBSI) in responsible
senior positions in setting up quality systems and giving
process track leadership, as Chief Operating Officer of
Intelligent Systems India Limited, Chennai, an associate company
of Intelligent Systems Inc., USA, India Software Group (ISG) and
National Productivity Council, Ministry Of Industrial
Development, Government of India.
He has consulted in cybernetics and allied areas for process,
chemical, petrochemical, engineering, leather, paper and allied
industries. He was an advisor to Cement Manufacturers
Association for modernization study under the aegis of National
Productivity Council. He has spoken in number of forums
organized by ISTD, IIIE, CII and NPC and chaired session on the
“Future of India Corporate Inc.” organized by Pondicherry School
of Management, Pondicherry University. He is the member of
Madras Management Association (MMA), Indian Society For Training
and development (ISTD), Institution Of Industrial Engineering (IIIE),
Indian Society Of Instrumentation Engineers (ISIE), and Indian
Science Congress. He is a six sigma green belt holder and has
been adjudged as a competent speaker, trainer and leader by
International Toast Masters Club.
He has submitted papers on Reliability Engineering, industrial
Approach to Software Engineering, Computer Integrated
Manufacturing, optimization and real time systems, quality
systems. As the president of NIT alumni Association, Chennai
Chapter; he conducted a national seminar on Industrial Safety.
He is involved in social service activities for women’s’
emancipation and supporting physically challenged. He is the
advisor of "Vishvodayaa Trust”, a social service organization”
and supports a school “BAALYAA” on early childhood education.
Ananth is a B. Tech (Chemical Engineering) from National
Institute Of Technology, Warangal (AP), Post Graduate in
Industrial Engineering with specialization in EDP and MIS from
National Productivity Council, India and an accredited
industrial Engineer (conferred M.I.I.E) from Indian Institution
Of Industrial Engineering.
