Traditional schooling
meant a place where children were taught with lot of discipline-
"severe punishments to impart education in the young minds was a
common factor."
Froebel was the
revolutionist who strongly believed that a special environment
with different play materials was important in the growth and
development of the young minds. He believed that teachers should
be trained specially for this and his motto was- " come let us
live for the children."
Dr. Montessori said," our work is based on the faith that human beings can
improve the society they have created by "following the CHILD”.
We believe in these ethnical standards as well as scientific.
The Education Centre
imparts education imbibing following two systems of foundation
learning:
1. Kindergarten
Education System: This educational system was founded by an
eminent international educationalist by name Friedreich Froebel.
This system is popularly known as the Play Way Method and is
practiced in Kindergarten schools all over the world. This word
Kindergarten is derived from a German word, which means a
"garden of children grow like flowers unfolding". The
Kindergarten environment is where the children bloom and the
teachers help in the process. This kind of special education
emphasizes that children " learn through playing"
2. Montessori Education
System: Maria Montessori, an Italian, founded this
educational system. Her motto was-"see the mother in the
teacher" (to make the transition from the home to the school an
easier one for the child.) The Montessori education system is an
educational system in which the total curriculum is taught
through Montessori materials, specially designed by Maria
Montessori. This Montessori education and the Montessori
materials are uniform throughout the world.
